After some quiet day from me (so sorry about that), now I back to my position and I am going to start a project named I AM MODEL – yes, it is a model search project..!!

I am going to build a model’s database in my facebook (I AM MODEL). With this database, event job hunter, freelancer, photohog etc. can get their girls much more easily. All models are welcome to submit your details to me.

Get-Togethers-OOOOOO Review

So far we already have 3 gatherings, that is Sunday Free Shooting (7 Nov 2010), Get-Togethers-O (9 Jan 2011) and Get-Togethers-O II (13 March 2011). Without your support, I can't make this event continue running in the future. I am appreciate for all your support to I AM MODEL, especially our volunteer models. I wish create more Get-Togethers-O event whenever I could make it.

ABOUT EARTH HOUR

Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change. Only a year later and Earth Hour had become a global sustainability movement with more than 50 million people across 35 countries/territories participating. Global landmarks such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge, CN Tower in Toronto, Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, and Rome’s Colosseum, all stood in darkness, as symbols of hope for a cause that grows more urgent by the hour.

In March 2009, hundreds of millions of people took part in the third Earth Hour. Over 4000 cities in 88 countries/territories officially switched off to pledge their support for the planet, making Earth Hour 2009 the world’s largest global climate change initiative.

On Saturday 27 March, Earth Hour 2010 became the biggest Earth Hour ever. A record 128 countries and territories joined the global display of climate action. Iconic buildings and landmarks from Asia Pacific to Europe and Africa to the Americas switched off. People across the world from all walks of life turned off their lights and came together in celebration and contemplation of the one thing we all have in common – our planet.

Earth Hour 2011 will take place on Saturday 26 March at 8.30PM (local time). This Earth Hour we want you to go beyond the hour, so after the lights go back on think about what else you can do to make a difference. Together our actions add up.

OK, What Can You Do?

Please support Earth Hour by switch off your light at 26 March 2011, 8.30-9.30pm.

It is NOT done yet. The most important part is, within this 60 minutes, please set your camera in long shutter mode, and prepare a light source (such as torchlight), and do some light painting..!!

Please share your light painting photo on my wall (I AM MODEL) when you are done. Everyone can join no matter you are photographer or model, have fun.

Finally, both of my new blog and facebook fans page – I AM MODEL are launched…!!!

I AM MODEL will be a platform for portrait photography lover to share and discuss about portrait photography. And also to create the chances for photographers and models to meet up for the shooting sessions that will be held monthly.
